Omega Electric Construction is a Vermont-based company established in 1967. We currently have an electrical work force of approximately 200 employees dedicated to quality installations. Our work experience runs the gamut from a small service department to multi-million dollar contracts. We have extensive experience in all aspects of the electrical trade, from medium-voltage installations and data/fiber installations to special systems such as fire alarms, security, sound, A/V, and nursing call systems.
Our project managers are involved with the project from start to finish. Every project manager is involved from the estimating phase through final project completion. Our project managers are heavily involved with scheduling, construction sequencing, logistics, manpower, design, on-site supervision, submittal process, and overall day-to-day problem solving.
Estimation and Design
Our estimation and design team utilizes the latest digital estimation logistics software to work through the BIM process with efficiency and precision and allows for success in completing projects on-time and within budget.
Our in-house CAD department works with our estimation and design team on design-build, design-assist, and on-contraction designed projects. This allows Omega to streamline our design and estimating, expediting project needs. Our CAD department is well-versed in 3D coordination and layout as well.
Fire Alarm/Security/Special Systems
Omega Electric is equipped to design and install fire alarm, security, and nursing call systems. Our head designer/project manager is Level 3 Nicet certified. We also use this design department on contract-engineered systems to create field drawings from vendor one-lines and layouts, which increase efficiency and improve the overall installation.
